Spectral Computers RM7000
This Digital Audio Workstation has been the heart of our recording studio for the last 2 years. It has performed beautifully and is now up for auction due to a hardware upgrade. Being a tested performer, this computer would also be great for a server, video editing, graphics production or gaming.
The RM7000 was desigened to power the DAW world with plenty of power and features. It is housed in a very rugged and attractive 3U rack mount chassis. Built-in cooling and air filtering keep it cool and clean. The system has been fully tested and benchmarked with Fresh Devices FreshDiagnose after a clean install of XP Pro Sp2 with System Restore points created at various stages. There are no other apps installed. The chassis is very easy to access should you need to. The lid removes with one thumb screw. The drive towers are easily removed with just a few screws. The MoBo has dual channel PATA and SATA controllers. This system was designed to be used with external audio capture hardware and though it does have integrated digital audio chips, the connector riser is not installed on this Mobo. A sound card can esily be installed or you can interface with external Firewire audio gear as we did. The ATI Sapphire graphics card has been configured for dual hi-res LCD monitors. It will auto detect attached displays at startup. A new KingWin Thermal Controller is included though we did not wire it up...the MoBo provides adequate monitoring of temps and fan speeds. The chassis lid has some stratches on it from loading in and out of the rack but they are only cosmetic.

PayPal only. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping is calculated on a 45lb, 28x28x12 package according to buyer's location. I do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.
