'Live' booting from CDs, USB sticks and other portable media. This means you can try the operating system right from the CD! Just put the disc in your drive and reboot!
It can run from your systems RAM! This makes it unusually fast and particularly relevant to modern PCs with solid state CF drives, such as Wyse HP/Compaq 'thin clients' and the ASUS EeePC similar 'next generation' hand-helds. And of course, it works perfectly well on a traditional PC as well!
Works on any system built in about the last 10 years! It can run happily on a on old Pentiums with as little as 32Mb RAM.
