Pentium II Slot 1 Celeron CPU Cooler Heatsink Fan
The computer must have a slot one that looks similor the 4th picture and the fan must fit on the card lot that looks similar the third picture. These computers with the slot 1, were put in the market about April 1998 at least.
Slot 1 Processors (not socket 370's)
Below are some examples of the cpu that the fan works for; Intel Pentium II (SECC, 233-450 MHz) Intel Pentium III (SECC2, 450-1133 MHz)Intel Celeron
Intel Celeron (SECC, 233-466 MHz)
Slot 1 (Please see tables below to match your motherboard)
Intel completely changed the scene with this slot. It, instead of accepting the usual square chip with pins on the bottom, takes the processor on a daughtercard. The daughtercard allows fast communication between the processor and the L2 cache, which lies on the card itself. The slot itself has 242 pins and operates at 2.8-3.3 volts. The Slot 1 is used mainly for the P2,P3 and Celeron, but Pentium Pro users can use the slot by mounting their processors in a socket 8 on a daughtercard which is then inserted into the Slot 1.
Please check with the manufacturer that made the Chip or mother in order that you purchase the correct cooler.
